Orange France has added three new mobile
broadband Internet prepaid packages targeted
at occasional users, as well as two new
subscription plans aimed at frequent users.
The operator has also unveiled a 3G+ MF636
dongle with 4 GB of memory and two new
netbooks, the Samsung NC10 and the Asus Eee
PC 1000HGO 3G+, available at EUR399 each.
Orange offers the new mobile broadband
packages over its EDGE and HSPA networks,
which cover 75% and 99% of the population
respectively.

reinvented, Orange continues to give access
to mobile internet to everybody, offering
its customers the widest mobile broadband
coverage.
For occasional use
With the new Internet everywhere
Passes(2), the user can surf the internet
for longer: validity ranges from 2 weeks to
a month.
- 1 hour Pass: €8,
- 2 hour Pass: €14,
- 6 hour Pass: €25,
- 20 minute Pass: €3 (24 hour
validity).
For frequent or even intensive use,
Orange has two packages
- The 2 hour adjustable subscription
plan
Orange is offering a 2h adjustable
package at €9.90, with two new, more
generous thresholds, allowing customers to
minimize their bills, with automatic
adjustment to the more advantageous option:
either billing extra minutes used (€0.16 a
minute by the second, from the 1st second),
or adjusting to the best threshold (6h
threshold: + €10, 12h threshold : + €20).
- The unlimited subscription plan
This package offers internet surfing with
no time limit(3), with no additional charge,
on compatible networks(4) in mainland
France. Orange is offering the unlimited
package at €29.90 a month for 6 months, then
at €39.90 a month, with a 24-month
contract(5)
A new 3G+ dongle with 4 gigabytes of
memory included
Thanks to the 3G+ MF636 dongle with its 4
gigabytes of memory, the user can transport
files and transfer them from one computer to
another with the greatest of ease. Orange’s
new 3G+ MF636 dongle is PC and Mac
compatible, and will cost €19(6) with
subscription to an Internet everywhere
package (12 or 24 month contract) or €49(6)
(€79 with €30 refunded(7)) with the Internet
everywhere(2) Pass (no contract).
It is available from the beginning of May
in France Telecom/Orange branches, at
www.francetelecom.fr, and at
www.orange.fr. This new 3G+ dongle is an
addition to the 3G+(8) range, which already
includes the 3G+ E160 (available as part of
a boxed-set and on its own) and the 3G+ TNT
E510 with integrated TNT tuner.
Two new netbooks join the Orange range:
- The Samsung NC10 on offer at €399
- The Asus Eee PC 1000HGO 3G+, with an
internal 3G+ module, available
exclusively(9) from 28 April at €399.
Orange is also offering a new version of
the MedionŽ AkoyaŽ mini 1210, on sale at
€349, offering double the independence and
storage with a 6 cell battery and 160
gigabytes of hard disk.
